Jenny Richmond Ph.D. Director, Early Learning Lab.
Jenny L. Richmond Ph.D. is the Director of the Early Learning Lab. She completed her PhD in Psychology in 2005 at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand and a post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota and Children's Hospital Boston at Harvard Medical School before taking up a position within the School of Psychology at UNSW.
Her research interests centre around how brain development drives memory and emotion understanding development during infancy and early childhood. Her research combines behavioural, eye-tracking and psychophysioloical indices, taking a converging methods approach to understanding the mechanisms underlying developmental change early in life.
